Claude Fable 5 is now available in CRHQ. It is Anthropic's most capable model for long-horizon agent work and is now selectable from your satellite's model controls.
What it is for
Fable 5 is built for the hardest, longest-running work: deep investigations, large multi-stage tasks, and autonomous agentic coding. It is designed for jobs where you want to hand over an outcome rather than micromanage every step.
A few things to know
It is opt-in. Existing agents and sessions keep their current models until you choose Fable 5.
Use it deliberately. Fable 5 is more expensive than routine models. Keep Sonnet for everyday work, use Opus for complex reasoning, and reach for Fable 5 when the task is high-value enough to justify it.
Everything else works the same. Select Fable 5 from the model dropdown for a session or set it as an agent default where it makes sense.
How to use it
Open a session or agent model selector and choose Fable 5. For persistent usage, set it as the default for the specific agent that should use it.
