Knowledge Documents

Share reference materials in CRHQ Tasks — workspace and project-level documents with versioning and search.

Knowledge documents are the reference layer of CRHQ Tasks. They hold persistent information — brand guidelines, strategy docs, technical specs, meeting notes — that both humans and agents can access.

Document Scoping

Documents exist at two levels:

  • Workspace-level — Company-wide knowledge (brand guidelines, policies, general reference)
  • Project-level — Project-specific context (PRDs, technical decisions, campaign briefs)

Creating a Document

  1. Navigate to the Knowledge section in CRHQ Tasks
  2. Click Create Document
  3. Fill in:
FieldDescription

Document Lifecycle

StatusMeaning
DraftWork in progress, not finalized
PublishedActive, visible to all workspace members
ArchivedSoft-deleted, hidden by default

Version History

Every edit creates a new version with:

  • Version number
  • Change summary (what was modified)
  • Who made the change (human or agent)
  • Timestamp
  • Ability to restore any previous version

Find documents using:

  • Full-text search — Search across titles, content, and summaries
  • Label filtering — Filter by tags
  • Project filtering — Show only documents for a specific project
  • Pinned filter — See only pinned documents

Linking Documents to Tasks

Documents can be linked to tasks for reference:

  • A task can have multiple linked documents
  • A document can be linked to multiple tasks
  • Links appear in both the task detail and document detail views

This creates a knowledge graph connecting work items to their reference materials.
